2023 Gauteng Championships - Men's Results

Our ESDA Men's Teams did exceptionally well at the 2023 Gauteng Championships held over the past weekend of 3 & 4 July 2023. It was a gruelling two days with some teams only leaving the venues after 23:00 on Saturday, but our boys pushed through and made us extremely proud!!

The team, doubles and singles achievements are as follows:

Division A:

Team: Hugo Deysel, Wayne Ellis, Vaughn Brendon Smith, Chipoyera Tinashe, Alfred Ungerer and Vincent Van Wyk 3rd Place 🥉🏆

Doubles - Hugo Deysel and Vincent Van Wyk 3rd Place 🥉🏆

Singles - Hugo Deysel defended his title and took 1st Place again!🥇🏆

Division B:

Doubles - Attie Botha and Boom Ferreira 1st Place 🥇🏆

Singles - Attie Botha 1st Place 🥇🏆

Division C:

Team - C1 - Jacques Botha (Captain), Carlos Rego, Walther Harris, Jan Putter, Grant Wepener and Bradley Gertenbach 1st Place 🥇🏆

Doubles - Rajesh Ramnund and Leon du Plessis 1st Place 🥇🏆

Jan Putter and Grant Wepener 4th Place.

Singles - Rajesh Ramnund 2nd Place 🥈🏆
