ESDA Junior achieve Gauteng Colours

Darts player showcases great skill, earns provincial colours.

Nakita De Lange (16) represented the Ekurhuleni South Darts Association (ESDA) ‘Blue Machine Family’ well over the past two weekends.

She attended the Gauteng Trials and was recently selected as part of the Gauteng Juniors Team who will be representing Gauteng at the Darts South Africa Nationals being held in July at the Wild Coast Sun.

This is a huge accomplishment for Nakita as she has only been playing darts for a short while and has now earned her provincial colours. She only joined the sport in March 2022 and has been doing exceptionally – harnessing her skills ever since. She said it is a massive honour to have been chosen to represent the province at the Darts South Africa National Championship.

This is a huge deal for the club, as we have not had a junior in the Gauteng Team for a while now. We are extremely proud of Nakita and her achievement and wish her nothing but success at the Nationals where she will be playing to possibly obtain Protea Colours.
